We purchased this truck as a cab and chassis as it is a great candidate for a new lease on life. It has a desirable engine (no DEF!), desirable dimensions (84" CA), a replaced manual transmission, and under a 26K GVWR. This truck runs, drives and operates GREAT! The exterior, interior, frame/underside all shows really well. The Cummins 5.9L turbo diesel engine starts right up, sounds good and is very quiet. Upon listing this truck it was very cold (~25 degrees) and the truck started right up without hesitation. The 7 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly and as it should. The clutch feels strong. No warning lights are illuminated on the dash. The interior shows well with no major rips or tears in the seat. The frame/underside has been sandblasted and painted in a rust inhibiting black paint. We usually sandblast and paint our cab & chassis trucks to knock off the light surface rust and to protect/preserve the frame for the next owner. Minor pitting on the frame can be seen from the sandblasting but no areas of concern are present. This is a hard to find truck that is well optioned and ready to go. Great truck that you could hop in and get right to work. This truck would be a great candidate for a service body, hooklift, flatbed, or just as a hauler truck. This truck has been mechanically checked and the oil has been changed, fly in and drive it home. We added the temporary rear lights so that the truck could be driven out of here legally.
