    Find Mobility Van For Sale

The mobility van is a great vehicle for those who have wheelchair-bound family. This type of van is a bit different than others. The design is for accommodating for all sizes of wheelchair or motorized chairs. There are two types available; side entry and rear entry.

Side entry mobility vans are the most common you will see on the market. These allow for someone in a wheelchair to sit in the front passenger seat. Some are for if the person wants to drive. They come with a ramp behind the front seats. While the most popular version, there are drawbacks. It will need extra room in handicap parking spaces to use the ramp. That can be difficult when people disregard that extra space or if there are no spaces available.

The rear entry is different and meant for those who are not driving. There is space for the wheelchair and an extra passenger seat. The ramp comes out the back and extra space isn’t needed. It is not a good idea to parallel park in this vehicle.
